Irony

We saw this magazine in the lobby of the hospital when they discharged The Kid. He was exactly 100 days old when he came home. We thought it was a little ironic.
The Kid was 7 lbs 15.5 oz. when he came home. Only over 5.5 lbs bigger than when he was born. I was just glad that I wasn't taking home an 8 lb baby. Mostly I was glad that I didn't have to GIVE BIRTH to an 8 lb baby. He was 7.5 lbs on his due date. I think that's do-able for next time. Don't you think?

This was our last family picture in the NICU before they let us escape. What an attractive little family we are!
